I am a Toronto based artist but have lived in many places including Boston, Washington DC, and Chicago. I studied art in college at the University of Wisconsin. I took a several year hiatus from painting to work as a women's health advocate and lawyer. I am thrilled to be painting again!

I am a member of the North Toronto Group of Artists and the Lawrence Park Arts Collective. I have exhibited throughout Toronto including at Arta Gallery, the Yonge and Eglinton Centre, ArteMbassey, Keller Williams Portfolio, and as part of the Young and Lawrence Village Art Walk.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

My paintings are inspired by travel, light, color, my children, and our two dogs. I hope my paintings convey the feelings I experienced in the moments that I am trying to capture.

It's the end of the day and we are all in a rush to get home to our families. "Evening Commute--Yonge and Lawrence" tries to capture that end of the day feeling as we make our way through Toronto traffic to our loved ones.

There are pockets of old industrial Leaside still visible beyond the strip malls, construction, condos, and big box stores that tell the story of Toronto. "Industrial Leaside" tries to capture some of that history.
