The Iron Cross requires significant core, arm and wrist strength, with your body suspended upright while your arms extend laterally.

This young man represented the USA at the 2017 Maccabi Games in Israel, earning a silver medal on high bar, and helping the team take silver against a field of elite competitors.

The Maccabi Games is the third largest international sports competition in the world, after the OIympics and the Pan American Games.

The plate is hand-painted using alcohol tusche and pitt pen, heat-set and pulled on intaglio press.

When animals find safety in man-made structures, dependency builds as predation lags. Wildlife forages garbage for scraps of fast food leftovers, while habitat loss and extinction befall those less fortunate.

Oak tree seen in a Chicagoland forest preserve. Even though an invasive vine is beginning to take it over, it is still beautiful.

Monotype processes differ from artist to artist. I paint on a plexiglass plate, then use an etching press to transfer the image. Then I add extra contrast and color directly to the paper. Hence, oil over monotype.
