Omo Ologo II is a second piece in a limited edition collection. A Yoruba phrase meaning "a child of prosperity". A poetry-infused art with afrocentric markings and symbols meticulously incorporated into the piece to act as a poetic dance, guiding the observer through the labyrinth of thoughts and aspirations of the subject.
Tosin is a Nigerian-Canadian visual artist and the author of the poetry collection "Letters to Untitled." They are a wordsmith whose artwork beautifully captures their love for storytelling and narrative-driven themes, using a blend of traditional and digital techniques. Tosin's artistic journey is profoundly shaped by their West African heritage and their passion for celebrating and delving into the intricate complexities of culture and identity.

Employing a blend of traditional techniques with digital mixed media, my work is a harmonious fusion of poetry, aphorism, traditional African markings, and the underlying emotions they convey. It is a celebration of my West African heritage and the underrepresented voices in my community. Reflecting my passion for creating narrative-driven pieces that evoke emotions, provoke reflection, and inspire meaningful dialogues.
