Atmosphere

Acrylic, foil and resin on wood.

42x32x2"

Atmosphere suggests a space without a fixed horizon, where depth is sensed through glimpses rather than measured by distance. Blue appears between dense metallic textures, opening pockets of air within a surface that seems almost weightless despite its complexity.

The eye moves between individual fragments and the larger field, finding no single point of rest. This shifting sense of scale gives the work an enveloping quality, suggesting something close enough to touch yet too expansive to take in at once.
