Awakening

Acrylic and ink on stretched canvas.

60x48x1.50"

Awakening is a diptych (2 panels) exploring the gradual movement from stillness toward awareness. Across the two panels, layered forms and marks appear to surface, dissolve, and reappear, creating a quiet sense of change. The space between the canvases becomes part of the work, holding a pause between what is receding and what is beginning to emerge.
