Whispers of Winter belongs to Ipseity — a collection that explores the quiet presence of selfhood and the landscapes of inner awareness. The title is not metaphor so much as method: this painting works the way winter does, by subtraction, by hush, by what it removes until only the essential remains.
Through textured knife work and an ethereal palette, the piece builds in layers — atmosphere and abstraction intertwined, the line between memory and reality deliberately blurred. What emerges is not a landscape so much as a state of being: the vast, the still, the irreducibly one's own.
Here, the natural world becomes a mirror. What it reflects is both the seen and the deeply felt.

Appartenant à l’ipséité — une collection qui explore la présence silencieuse du soi et les paysages de la conscience intérieure. Le titre n'est pas tant métaphore que méthode : cette toile agit comme l'hiver, par soustraction, par effacement, en retirant ce qui est superflu jusqu'à ce que seul l'essentiel demeure.
Par le travail texturé du couteau et une palette éthérée, l'œuvre se construit en couches — atmosphère et abstraction entrelacées, la frontière entre mémoire et réalité volontairement estompée. Ce qui émerge n'est pas tant un paysage qu'un état d'être : le vaste, l'immobile, l'irréductiblement sien.
Ici, le monde naturel devient miroir. Ce à quoi il réfléchit est à la fois ce que l'on voit et ce que l'on ressent au plus profond.
