Festiva Maxima

I was inspired by the beautiful, exotic center of this peony blossom, and this particular variety, I believe is the "Festiva Maxima". It is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas (1.5" deep) and the surface has been prepared with three or four coats of gesso, and sanding in between each coat, for a smooth finish.
