Full Moon. The Two

Oil on canvas.

36x48x1"

This painting "Full Monn. The Two" is immersed in deep shades of blue, evoking the stillness of night. Against this backdrop appear two delicate white silhouettes of birds, reminiscent of herons. Turned toward one another, their posture conveys intimacy, fragility, and quiet elegance. The moonlight accentuates their refined outlines, while the viewer becomes a chance witness to this subtle, private scene.
Executed in traditional oil painting, the textured brushstrokes highlight and guide attention toward the luminous patches of light. The large scale of the work draws the viewer in, creating the sensation of being inside the scene. At its heart, the painting speaks of harmony, closeness, and the delicate fragility of a relationship between two beings.
