I UNiFY - #266

Acrylic and mixed media on stretched canvas.

21x21x1.50"

This artwork is a square canvas dominated by shades of pink and coral. The surface is heavily textured with a rough, almost granular appearance, creating a tactile dimension that invites closer inspection.
In the center, a single vertical white shape resembling the lowercase letter "i" stands out sharply against the colorful background. Surrounding this central figure, faintly embossed but still discernible, is the word "UNIFY" which blends subtly into the textured background, compelling the viewer to engage more deeply to reveal its message.
This piece effectively marries color and texture, using a warm gradient that transitions smoothly yet vibrantly, evoking feelings of warmth and cohesion. The tactile quality adds a physicality that contrasts beautifully with the graphic simplicity of the white "i" and the hidden word, creating a balanced tension between subtlety and boldness.
The choice of colors works harmoniously to create an emotional resonance, suggesting themes of connection and wholeness, which is reinforced by the word "UNIFY."
