North end of Malibu, California, begins 1.5 miles of Leo Carrillo State Beach. It is such a beautiful coastal area offering sea caves, rich tide pools with sea life, surfing, camping and hiking trails. For me, it allows an endless range of views for oil painting. This painting was featured in a coffee-table book “The Art of Saltwater”.
