“Nacre VI: Interval” explores the relationship between repetition, interruption, and stillness. Three luminous, pearlescent forms emerge against a structured composition of black and white, while a bold red vertical creates a striking counterpoint.

The pearlescent surfaces subtly shift in tone and luminosity as the viewing angle and surrounding light change, revealing qualities that photographs cannot fully capture. The interplay of matte darkness, reflective surfaces and geometric structure gives the painting a changing presence throughout the day.
