Rinascimento — “rebirth” — reflects my enduring fascination with the solitary tree as a symbol of resilience and renewal. Painted in acrylic with layered brushwork, it captures the quiet tension between light and shadow, structure and softness. The surface is subtly built up, allowing texture and depth to echo the vitality of the scene.

First exhibited in 2016, the painting marked a turning point in my work — a move toward more focused studies of atmosphere and form. The tree, rendered in luminous greens against a gently receding background, becomes both subject and metaphor: a quiet affirmation that renewal is an ongoing act, one that happens in nature — and in the artist’s practice itself.
