This work is from my series “Scenes from the Marsh” and each are a seasonal dance of colours and textures. The paintings are inspired by my favourite spot at Jericho Park where foliage hangs over the water and creates a kaleidoscope of beauty in the waves below. With hidden shapes of dragonflies, cranes and other local creatures, their energy and movement bring the observer closer to see what lies beneath.
