A heaping load of laundry half folded on an unmade bed, has many narratives –one of the many chores in progress; the evidence of cared-for children; and the pure beauty of the colours and tex¬tures caught in the light. For me, it becomes a declaration, about making the invisible world of housework now visible –with its positive and negative connotations.
