Solitude captures a quiet moment of pause — the space between thought and feeling. It reflects the kind of stillness that allows emotions to surface softly, without the noise of the outside world. Through this work, I wanted to express the tenderness found in being alone — not as isolation, but as a necessary act of self-connection.
The figure looking out the window becomes a reflection of the inner self — waiting, remembering, and simply existing in the quiet beauty of the moment. In creating this piece, I thought about how solitude can be both heavy and healing, and how silence can hold its own kind of warmth.
