The old ship has sailed
This new boat ain’t sound
My mind keeps trying
To find solid ground

Nostalgia sets in
My oars are awry
I do what I must
But my sea-legs aren’t spry

They tell me the past
Was in line to be fixed
But the changes we see
Should mostly be nixed

The rich getting richer
The fools still in charge
Our smiles are covered
The madness is large

We won’t stay well
By living in fear
We’ve gotten this far
Keeping loved ones near

It’s not just touch
Tho’ love will prevail
It’s the mingling of life
Isolation’s a fail

It’s time to remember
There is no more doubt
We must trust our Nature
Within and without
