When I finished this piece, I saw fragments of a land, broken, wounded, and scattered, yet still alive. Through texture and mixed media, I tried to reveal the depth of the wounds and the violence that have marked this land. The cracked surfaces and layered materials speak of loss, fracture, and endurance. Yet within those broken pieces, there is still color, light, and beauty. Beneath the scars, something continues to shine. This work is not only about destruction. It is about resilience.
About a land that has been torn apart, yet remains vibrant, beautiful, and full of life.
It still shines.
