This piece is filled with Jungian symbolism and dreamlike images, representing the cycles of transformation we go through in our journey to wholeness. The sleeping woman represents the unconscious dreaming state, before we awaken to all of who we can be. Other symbolism includes imagery of death and rebirth, wisdom, tension of opposites, inner child, healing our wounds, opening to all of life and all of who we can be. Rooted in the earth and nature, but always reaching for the sacred and the light. The frame is a molded dark green with a mottled dark gold patterning, with an inner perimeter of gold highlight, a natural colour linen matting. Glass enclosed.
