I was intrigued by this doorway while walking the streets of Florence; the Italian city that is the birthplace of the Renaissance and the capital of Tuscany. A place that celebrates art, architecture, science and more. How many people have walked past this doorway over the course of centuries? Poets, artists, architects, tourists and more! Dante? DaVinci? Tintoretto? Michaelangelo? Raphael? Botticelli? And here I am standing in their footsteps.
