A NUMBER OF CARDINALS (My mother's story) An original mixed-media artwork, inspired by nature and birds. Each male cardinal is the impression my mother had as she witnessed a bush covered in cardinals. Are they the same or different, just like people? No two are exactly alike.
This is part of a long-running series that utilizes the diversity of nature and the symbolism that the artist has felt since childhood, watching birds connect heaven and earth. The collage materials are fragments of original printmaking.
