Between Silences captures a solitary cyclist passing through an urban landscape nearly erased by fog. Muted surroundings, silhouetted trees and diffused light create a suspended atmosphere, while the cyclist’s red jacket introduces a small pulse of colour and movement.
The photograph reflects on the quiet interval between departure and arrival, when an ordinary moment becomes contemplative and almost cinematic. The broad field of pale mist and the dark roadway hold the cyclist between visibility and disappearance.
