In this work from the Elements Series, Earth represents endurance, grief, and the will to continue living after profound loss. The figure merges with a tree, symbolizing life's deep roots and the strength required to remain grounded through trauma. A serpent coils protectively around the body while a small unborn form rests within its embrace, acknowledging the pain of still birth and miscarriage. Despite sorrow, the rising sun and surrounding life forms suggest resilience - Earth as the element that holds memory, nurtures healing, and sustains the courage to begin again.
