“Faces in Nature” explores the unexpected images that can emerge when we slow down and look beyond what we first see. At first, the painting appears to be an expressive woodland landscape, with slender trees rising above reflective water and intense reds, golds, greens, and blues moving through the composition. Look longer, however, and faces begin to appear among the trees, shapes, and reflections. What makes the discovery particularly interesting is that these faces were not intentionally placed within the painting. They emerged naturally during the creative process, changing the way the finished work could be seen and experienced. As part of the Cubi–Seren branch of the CubiFusion Collection, Faces in Nature reflects BriN.’s exploration of observation, atmosphere, and the way our perception can reveal something unexpected within the familiar. How many faces can you find?
