GARDEN REVERIE

Acrylic on canvas.

30x30x1.50"

This is one of my many improvisations on gardens, flowers and plants that began as an inspiration. My aim is to balance the foliage against negative space in a consistent way across the work. I find nature rarely gets a colour scheme wrong; so I tend to do as nature does; I mix it up and don't adhere to too many rules.
