A vibrant, abstract composition from the Geographies Within series, inspired by my first trip to the Philippines. Flowing shapes and entwined forms in blues, oranges, and reds suggest leaves, vines, and imagined vegetation, merging into a dreamlike, fluid space. Painted in February, it reflects the contrast of winter’s cold with the lush greenery, the gentle warmth of the air, and the relaxed, immersive presence of nature.
