Living in a northern country has compelled me to appreciate the beauty of clouds. I especially love the stark contrasts of illuminated storm clouds. This piece is part of a series of clouds paintings I have been working on titled "Suspended Time". It was created by applying multiple layers of acrylic paint & oil paint with gold leaf accents. The impression of depth and the sense of mystery makes the representation of clouds almost abstract.
