This painting is intentionally open to perception. Some see a sun, others a sunflower, an eye, an explosion, or even a trap. There is no single correct interpretation.
From a psychotherapeutic and mindfulness perspective, the image becomes a projective object—a space where perception, emotion, memory, and personal associations meet. What we notice first, what we feel, and even what we overlook can open a conversation about our inner world.
The painting invites a simple question: What do you see—and what does it bring up in you?
Under black light, the work transforms again. Colors, forms, and details emerge differently, creating a second perceptual experience and inviting the viewer to look again.
