Hotel Haiti

Here is a flash of the unconscious to earlier days of a hotel in Haiti that I visited when I did a volunteer trip there many years ago. Stumbled upon this beautiful Hotel from the 1920's in a remote area and it had this amazing beautiful open air lobby area with very high ceilings and interesting art. I remember imagining what art I would paint for it if I could when I was there.

I work mainly from the rising of unconscious feelings from deep within our inner abyss. Those feelings come in a variety of ways and also bubble up to the surface and meet the reality of our daily existence. often in a very tangled colorful fashion.
