This scene stopped in my tracks while the sun was setting on Montréal's botanical gardens, by the strong lines and shadows among my favourite of subjects: trees. Though Montréal is my hometown, when I left, I was not the 'mad gardener and artist' I am now. So on my last visit, I made time to visit. Nothing's better than nature doing its thing.
