A new painting from my "Geographies Within" series — inspired by impressions from one of my journeys to Japan.
This work holds memories of a quiet evening sunset with a view of a temple, where everything felt suspended in silence and contemplation. Soft blossoms, flowing lines, and delicate transitions of color merge with brighter, living accents — like fragments of memory that remain long after the journey ends.
For me, this painting is not about depicting a place directly, but about the feeling that stays with you: tenderness, stillness, light, and the fleeting beauty of spring.
