My fourth in the Chinatown series features Spadina Ave. and all the tapestry of colours that layer to make this vibrant part of the city dynamic and full of energy. On a recent walk, there was so much to take in. It is an explosion of conversations, smells, signs and people negotiating with merchants or just window shopping. It has heart and soul and is truly a place where this community thrives. Although right near little Italy, its vibe was dramatically different. How beautiful to live in a city where diversity is celebrated and cultures can thrive.
