This painting speaks to my time spent in Australia. I was there on vacation over a decade ago. Snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef was such a magical experience. I am forever grateful of my time spent with family swimming in the deep blue. With climate change posing the greatest threat, I am not sure it will be the same when and if I ever make it back there. I worry of the mass coral bleaching and what it will do to the eco systems living down under. This artwork serves as a fond memory of what was, and a curiosity of what will come to be.
