This image is printed on canvas, stretched (mirrored gallery-wrap) on a 0.75” wood frame, with a rich, satin finish. My logo is not printed on the canvas; I signed the back of the piece.

Moonrise – whether I’m watching it from horizon level or capturing it from higher vantage points framed by Edmonton’s cityscape elements, it always seems magical. With the snow beautifully matching the tones of the Walterdale Bridge, seeing the full moon rising just after sunset against a backdrop of twilighty Belt of Venus colours was captivating! I’m always thankful I can capture such moments; photography is the coolest — well, especially in winter, ha haa haa!

When I first started printing enlarged images I only produced one winter-themed art piece, but thanks to images like this one (okayyyy, and a few others), I’m finding that winterscape compositions make compelling prints. I now have a few winter pics printed and definitely more to come :-)
