Shinjuku is a lively Tokyo entertainment district and home to the world’s busiest train station. We arrived there on a rainy evening. As we wandered through the bustling neighborhood, I was captivated by the reflections of the neon lights on the rain-soaked streets. My kids stood patiently with me at this intersection while I waited for the crowds to thin enough to take a picture. After three light cycles, the people cleared out, except for a lone man in a white raincoat.
