the inspiration for this piece in this series was based on my own suffering. I've had Crohn's disease since i was a kid. for the past 2 years before that it had gotten so bad where i actually couldn't even physically walk anymore and had lost so much weight that i became a shell of myself physically and mentally. in June i had a ileostomy surgery and vowed to myself that i would not waste anymore of my time when it came to plans and creating things for myself. i wanted to start creating series based around suffering and human cost as its something everyone deals with on a daily bases. my personal philosophies involve the thought that suffering is apart of the human experience for better or for worse. for example, going to the gym you suffer physically for the cost of getting better. This series explores ww2 and the suffering and human cost that was involved among everyone involved and that was affected. this piece specifically is titled "the clash" its number 2 out of the series and explores the time when action was very prominent. Around the world bodies were piling up and it was kill or be killed. There wasn't a time to even think about what you had done. It was destruction, Ferocity, hostility and Inhumanity all hitting a peak regardless of location and which side you were on. This state of deep seated ill will with active opposition created intense relentless and powerful feelings. Which ultimately leads to extreme cruelty and lack of compassion
