"The Dragon" is part of the Lunar New Year series in the collection called "Stuff of Legend". The series is intended to invoke nostalgia and good memories of childhood through the medium of well-loved stuffed animals. When we think of our favorite toy or game from our childhood it usually brings a fond memory. On the other hand, our childhoods are not perfect and they present challenges that we learn and heal from; patching ourselves up as we grow. I wanted to embody that moment of appreciation for life's journey in my art.
