“The Fight” explores raw energy and movement through two horses rising against one another in a moment of confrontation.

The opposing bodies create the structure of the composition, their forms pushing upward and inward as they meet near the centre of the canvas. Strong diagonals, muscular curves, and contrasting areas of light and shadow build tension while keeping the two figures visually connected.

Earthy browns, deep blacks, muted greens, and touches of gold lend weight to the horses, while the lighter background lets their movement dominate. The result is a composition built around strength, resistance, and controlled energy.
