This original oil painting shows my feelings in the spring of 2021 when I had to close my art school for good (after 11 years of operation) due to COVID-19. On top of that, I severely injured my hand which put all my art projects and scientific experiments on a very long hold. After all these happened, my family decided to move from Vancouver, BC to Gatineau, QC.
In other words, the Spring 2021 painting depicts the most wonderful season in Vancouver – spring, but being unable to enjoy the season.
