Urban Solitude places a line of pigeons against the vertical geometry of contemporary residential towers. Their irregular silhouettes interrupt the architectural grid, while a single bird rests on a wire below, separated from the group by a broad expanse of blank wall.
Rendered in black and white, the photograph explores coexistence and isolation within the built environment. Repeated windows, the gathered flock and the solitary bird create a quiet tension between belonging and distance. An ordinary urban scene becomes a study of scale, stillness and the forms of life that inhabit the city.
