"Vintage Heart" is born from moments of quiet reflection during my mountain hikes, where I found myself constantly crossed by butterflies. To me, these creatures are profound symbols of transformation, hope, and faith, themes that completely guided the creation of this piece.

The artwork captures a serene, introspective moment, embodying a simple message: regardless of our age, we all carry the deep wisdom of an "old soul" combined with a youthful, resilient perspective. It serves as a gentle visual reminder to find inner peace, embrace self-love, and trust the enchanting journey of life.

Mediums Used: High-pigment acrylic paints form the vibrant color palette, ranging from deep teal and electric blues to warm yellows and bright magentas.

Collage Elements: I integrated vintage elements into the background, including aged cursive script paper at the top and a structured paper collage at the bottom right featuring a typed poem/quote ("She's an old soul with young eyes, vintage heart, and a beautiful mind").

Physical Texture: The artwork boasts a highly tactile, layered surface. The physical edges of the torn collage papers create subtle raised dimensions, while the background features expressive paint splatters, visible brushstrokes, and gestural textures that contrast beautifully with the smooth, blended realism of the woman's face.

Edge Finish: The sides of the canvas are painted as a seamless continuation of the background artwork, allowing the piece to be hung immediately without the absolute need for a frame.

Archival Protection: The completed painting is sealed with a high-quality satin varnish with UV protection, preserving the brilliance of the colors, protecting the mixed-media collage elements, and ensuring long-term durability in bright commercial spaces.
