The Missed Encounter suggested two forms of looking: the inward from the woman and the outward from the bird. The painting explores the space between human consciousness and the natural world, where observation becomes a quiet form of communication and the possibility of missing connection in a blink.

How we sometimes focus so intently on one thing that we miss the beautiful moments happening just out of sight.
