“Winterview” explores the energy of a winter night as figures move through a city street illuminated by pools of artificial light.

Deep blues and blacks establish the surrounding darkness, while vivid pinks, oranges, turquoise, and white break through the composition. Pedestrians appear largely as silhouettes, their individual identities giving way to the movement and atmosphere of the street around them.

Texture, blurred light, and shifting colour create a city that feels constantly in motion. Against that energy, the figures remain somewhat isolated — passing one another briefly before continuing into the night.
