I've read countless stories from many people during my research, and what I've discovered is that we all share collective truths, despite the differences in our lived experiences. This piece is an abstraction of these various stories, all converging into a single entity, forming a beautiful yet complex tapestry that represents the human experience.

Nature is my main source of inspiration, as I am fascinated by its endless shapes, colors and textures. I draw from my memories of being immersed in natural environments, such as the weathered patterns of cliffs, the peaceful atmosphere of forests, or the powerful force of winds and storms. These experiences inform my artistic expression, which aims to capture the beauty and dynamism of nature.

"A Mustardpiece" is a mesmerizing abstract painting that creates a powerful illusion of depth through concentric rectangular frames in varying shades of yellow, mustard, and brown, leading to a bright white center. The geometric composition draws the viewer's eye inward through what appears to be a tunnel or portal effect, while the warm color palette evokes the rich, earthy tones of autumn spices and condiments, cleverly playing on the pun in its title.

Created in my studio in Toronto, Canada. Located in the 401 Richmond building.

This painting was a delight to paint. My mind was at ease knowing things under my control are taking care of and the connections I am making in this present moment are the correct ones. Life is good. Anything that does not line up to be won't be. There is no rush, just forward movement.

Meditate. Walk. Breathe. Smile.

Keep those butt cheeks moving forward.
