Having previously depicted the vibrant, azure sea waters in my collection, I was compelled to delve into the deeper, more mysterious facets of water in this particular painting. With this one, I set out to explore the intricate dance between water, light, and the human form, infusing it with a rich tapestry of dark and vivid colours.

I was going for something really dreamy for the background in this work. I still love catching wishes, making a wish, and then let it go to float away in the wind. I created the background with that in mind.
