Every time you change jobs, you feel like you're being born again. After I graduated from Moscow Textile University, I worked as a fashion designer, first in Russia and then in Latvia.

Taking the following education, I worked as an interior decorator in Canada for over 20 years.

A strong desire to paint pictures in the oil style led to my third rebirth, which was the best.

That burning desire to paint has become a constant need to create new portraits, figures, landscapes, and still-life paintings.
By far, my favourite genre of art is still life.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Painting is a pleasure and a way to express my inner world and emotions.
I am impressed by the possibilities of fine art in showing beauty to everybody who wants to see it.

My favourite hobby is walking among the colourful fall trees in the nearest forest. My grandmother taught me to determine edible mushrooms and cook them differently.
Autumn in Ontario's forest inspired this artwork.
Then, I created this composition and that painting.

Every one of us has a world of beauty inside and the ability to find beauty in the world outside.
Every year, I wait for June, when I can create a new lilac bouquet. This painting represents Lilac 2020 and would be great to hang in any interior.

The history of that painting is straightforward: Anticipation.

Sea, sunset, dreams. Of course, everybody could add something more. For example, when your life first meets the sea, you are excited to see the waves, the far horizon, the unusual clouds, and the fresh, warm wind that blows your mind.

Johannes Vermeer created a portrait named "Girl with Pearl Earrings." in 1665.

One night, I had an epiphany about my modern version. Attributes like piercings, dreads, and tattoos have been famous for ages, but now they are trendy among young people.

Like many of my friends, I love winter. Sometimes, I can smell the snow. I also like to meet extraordinary people.

And I know that everybody has a world of beauty and the ability to find beauty in the outside world.

Sometimes, we as artists go to follow to build up our stories. How vital that time is. It's about paintings too.
How often do you start to fantasize about warmness in winter?
I do it very often. Hot summer's field, for example.
This painting was created from start to finish in December.

It is likely that "The Birth of Venus" was created in the middle of the 1480s, inspired by the Italian artist Sandro Botticelli.
