Yarn and acrylic on canvas.

48x36"

By incorporating the influence of John Franzen with the use of continuous line to demonstrate fluidity of movement and upon Bridget Riley's creation of optical illusion through shapes, FOUR SEASONS-TEXTILE PAINTING, utilizes the textile material of multi-coloured yarn to simulate paint. In doing so, the look of "textile painting is created. The painterly strands capture the unrestricted cascades, drips and flows amongst the shape varieties. Strategic colour selections serve to translate seasonal visuals.
