ARTIST’S STATEMENT

This photo series focuses on the intersection of wine and spirit in multi-layered historically-tinged collages that pose sharp new questions to long held societal belief systems.
Joe builds these images with computer-based design techniques, and combines them with visual concepts from science and philosophy to critique the delusional elements of modern life.
