ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I use colors, shapes and symbols to create compositions that I see as visual poetry. Inspired by nature’s shapes and historical, astrological and geometric symbols, my paintings are the result of the relationship between my aesthetic memory and the creation of a particular universe aligned with the pursuit of self-consciousness. Painting is the main technique I use but I search for the freedom to experiment with various techniques and create different compositions with the possibilities they provide me, be it video art, installation, sculpture, printmaking and / or photography.
