ARTIST’S STATEMENT

The abstraction of landscape captivates me, as I am drawn to expressing the essence of the natural world. Painting intuitively, I bring forth abstracted and evocative interpretations of imagined landscapes. I enjoy incorporating mixed media techniques into my work to craft interesting textures that animate the canvas surface. Each painting mirrors my emotional connection to the environment, akin to a visual poetry that sparks the viewer's imagination.

As an intuitive abstract landscape artist, my inspiration comes from a variety of sources, both internal and external.
The natural world is my primary subject, so spending time outdoors, observing the landscapes I love to paint, can be a rich source of inspiration. Paying attention to the colors, textures, and shapes that I encounter, and how they make me feel.
