I am a male in my early thirties. I recently to the last year started playing around with acrylic paints. I shortly learned how much I loved painting and how relaxing of an activity it was for me. Full time I run my own small residential construction business, so painting is still very much just a hobby that I do when I have time on the weekends! I recently decided to post some paintings for sale and immediately sold a handful. Although it is just a passion and hobby it is cool to learn that people enjoy my paintings as much as I do.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I try to give each work my full attention. I am not afraid to make "mistakes" mid work because they very often make for some of the most interesting work. At the very least you learn something from mistakes. I love blending crazy color's together and anything that is bright and pops grabs my attention. I am always trying new things and would say I do not have one single style of painting yet.

This piece started out in a time of low energy. It was then revisited in a time of high energy. This created a sort of unique balance. There are very dark colours and restricted movements. At the same time there are very colourful playful and sort of wild strokes. This is how this piece got its name. Regardless of if it is your style it grabs you attention. It is sure to be a conversation starter. It would work well in a living room, entryway, office or basement.

One of my favorite styles to paint, a controlled mess! Layers upon layers of dragged paint created this unique piece. This is the sort of piece that would be referred to as a statement piece. There is an opportunity at every inch of this piece to let yourself get lost in the colour.
This piece is part of a set I did over the course of a month or so, you will see more like this one on my account.

This piece was poured in three stages. There is a subtle contrast between dark and light in this piece. Having a number of shapes poured into it different people see different things. Great for a bathroom, office or bedroom.

It is difficult to give this piece a description. This was painting over several sittings and during many different 'moods'. This is why you see pockets of crazy, pockets of controlled, pockets of planned, and pockets beauty. It is a lot like life in that way.
You are going to want to love bright popping colors to enjoy this piece.

This piece was a 2 stage pour. It required quite a bit of post pouring attention to ensure the adjoining colors worked together as I had planned. This is a lovly piece in person and works great in a bedroom, office or basement. It is subtle and calming but up close offers a lot of very cool details in the pours.

This piece was a four stage pour. As you can see some very unique shapes formed during the pours to create some animal like shapes. This piece looks great in a bedroom or a basement. All unframed works can be framed.

I used multiple uncontrolled pours of planned colors to create this unique piece. It is a very calming piece and looks great in and office, bedroom or entryway. The unique blending of poured acrylics make it impossible to not catch with your eyes as you walk into a room.

One of my favorite styles to paint, a controlled mess! This one has a bit of a twist to it being in a circular compared to the normal up and down.

One of my favorite works to date. This piece just somehow seems to add that pop to a room but at the same time can see subtle. It was a very relaxed process while making this which does show in the result. At the same time there are a variety of scattered colors that give it its chaos and beauty. Great piece against neutral walls.
